Developing a Roadmap for Advancing Green Chemistry and Engineering in the Emerald Corridor

Northwest Green Chemistry is facilitating the creation of an updated Green Chemistry and Engineering Roadmap (2018-2023) for the Emerald Corridor.  That includes but is not limited to the region between Vancouver, B.C. and Portland, OR.  If you are interested in participating in this process, please contact us.

In May 2011, the Washington State Green Chemistry Roundtable hosted a two-day regional partnership meeting that resulted in the publication of the 2012-2017 Roadmap for Advancing Green Chemistry in Washington State, which had seven recommendations.  This five-year plan is due for an update.  It is time to assess our progress and revise our vision for the next five years.  What is necessary to build the needed infrastructure for green chemistry and engineering to fulfill its promise to advance human and environmental health and a vibrant and healthy economy for all in the Pacific Northwest?
