The Center for Bioplastics and Biocomposites (CB2) Summer 2018 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is now accepting applications! The application deadline is February 20th, 2018.
Since the summer of 2017, CB2 has established a new REU site designed to provide undergraduate students a chance to participate in industry-directed fundamental research opportunities in the fields of bioplastics and biocomposites. Students will gain hands-on experience with synthesis, processing, and characterization of biobased plastics and composite materials.
There are currently 1-2 postdoc positions in environmental analytical chemistry available at Duke University, in central North Carolina. Candidates should have a PhD in environmental or analytical chemistry, or a related field, and experience using GC- and LC- based mass spectrometry methods.
The Department of Environmental Sciences within Huxley College of the Environment at Western Washington University invites applications from candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position focusing on applied environmental chemistry and global change.
The position is at the Assistant Professor rank and begins in September 2018.
